Impact of Recruitment Advertisement in Social Media Networks on the Effectiveness of Electronic Recruitment Process in Jordan

Abstract

This study aims at examining the impact of recruitment advertisement in social media networks on the effectiveness of the electronic recruitment process in Jordan. The study relied on a purposive sample of 236 individuals who use social media in Jordan. The study used the effectiveness of electronic recruitment process as the dependent variable, while the independent variables included: ease of use, informational content, source credibility, message credibility and content aesthetics. The results showed that there is a high positive impact of source credibility and message credibility on the effectiveness of electronic recruitment process. The study recommends Jordanian organizations to take credibility into consideration in their messages in order to build confidence with their newcomers.
