Impact of Organizational Justice on Organizational Effectiveness in the Jordanian Public Shareholding Industrial Companies

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of organizational justice on organizational effectiveness in the Jordanian public shareholding industrial companies. A questionnaire was designed based on information from the relevant authorities to collect data from the study sample. The study population was represented by the Jordanian public shareholding industrial companies listed in Amman Stock Exchange. 53 companies were chosen, including 15 of the largest companies in terms of the number of employees. The study sample consisted of functional managers at the level of middle management. The study revealed the following results: there is a statistically significant effect of organizational justice on all the dimensions of organizational effectiveness, where it was most influential on the adaptation and integration of goals to achieve. In light of the results, the most important recommendations were: taking justice into account in terms of distributing wages as well as financial and non-financial incentives, basing the promotion system on the principle of meritocracy and the level of performance, as well as paying greater attention to procedural justice.
