Abstract

The research deals with the feudalism of Lydda and Ramla in the Crusader period and its administrative subordination to the Kingdom of Latin Jerusalem since its fall in 1099 AD / 492 H. It also clarifies the geographical location of the cities of Lydda and Ramla and the reasons for its designation. The research includes the boundaries of feudalism, its cities, villages, and its participation in providing the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem with soldiers in its wars against the Muslims. Moreover, it highlights the judicial system and the bourgeois court in which it used to be held. The research also discusses the peace agreement of Ramla until its return to the Iyyubed state. It finally sheds light on the economic and constructive aspects during the period in question.
