Blockage of Almubtada's Advancement to Alkhabar: a Semantic Perspective
Abstract
This research paper addresses the cases where Al-Mubtada (subject) has to be preceded by the predicate. It handles syntacticians’ views on, focusing on the semantic account for each case. It suggests whether these semantic accounts are adequate; if not it provides further semantic accounts which may be more pursuing. It is worth indicating that Al-Mubtada must not initiate the sentence if the predicate is a compulsorily-beginning word or is restricted to the Al-Mubtada or Al-Mubtada is a cataphoric pronoun referring back to the predicate or is indefinite provident that the predicate is a phrase, just to name a few. This paper provides a semantic interpretation for all of these cases and others.Downloads
