Abstract

Abstract The modern interior design must be based on a set of theories that controls the qualities of the production, in the sense of creative thought, which lead the craft production in the framework of design, and makes them even unique in vision to reflect the technical and aesthetic originality. Interior design for commercial shops on the grounds that involves the intellectual logic reacts in consistency and compatibility with the practical and applied side, all reflected in its legibility aesthetic. It is possible by addressing sources of studies on the subject of art and craft to connect with design theories of the architects and artists of the twentieth century, such as, Johannes Itten, Walter Groupies, Mies Van Dewrohe. They reach through their experiences on materials and modern technologies to new concepts through the revolution that they have done on the classical tradition. Also they adopted the teachings of the Bauhaus that based on practical experience with an emphasis on the use of raw materials and new techniques. And here came the first statement, which announced by Bauhaus school emphasized the art is not a profession and that the architects, photographers, and sculptors should realize traits of the building as being a stand-alone feature, as the statement stressed that the absence of substantial differences between the artist and craftsman. And that in order to determine the general framework of the theory of applied design based on original creative aesthetics.
