Teaching/Learning Jordanians French Language Using Role-Playing Game in the Classroom

Abstract

Role-playing game is a technique or an activity played by fake or real characters in a fictional or fabricated environment by which the foreign language learner does. There are several forms of role-playing game, which can be more or less distinctive by its functions. Role-playing game in particular might be a therapeutic technique, or an educational method and either a delightful activity or a recreational activity. Role-playing game is a simulation of communication and lingual skills performed inside the classroom to learn foreign language and it’s considered as an activity aiming to ease the verbal phrasing of the learner. In this study, we will address the objectives of Role-playing game inside the classroom to learn French as a foreign language and then we will try to propose creative solutions to develop the learner’s lingual skills. As its imperative to have an education that focuses on the games inside the classroom which encourage students to speak French.
