Planning Indicators to Activate the Athletic Activities to Face Anti-Social Behavior

Abstract

The study aimed to shed light on the females’ deprivation in general and the young in particular of practicing athletic activities in the educational institutions at Saudi society .The sample of the study which was selected randomly consisted of 151 female students representing population of the study which is 840 female students who are enrolled in Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University for the academic year 1433H in Saudia Arabia. This university has all the facilities for practicing different activities including the athletic ones. The study concluded that there were awareness in the importance of the healthy and psychological athletic activities among the majority of the population of the study. Results showed that 62.9% of the population of the study have never practiced physical activities in their life, also results showed only (25.5%) practicing athletic activities . It was clear that participation in the specialized centers for practicing the activities was low and the limits of these centers was an obstacles facing practicing the physical activities especially in light of the lack of feminine public centers for athletic activities and their high cost if they were available in addition to ignorance of the quality of the appropriate athletic activities for the girls that can be practiced inside and outside the educational institutions.
