The Unification of the Morphological Meanings of the Verbal form (ESTAF’LA)
Abstract
This research aims at investigating the morphological meanings of the verbal form of (ESTAF’LA) and its variations. Despite the variety of meanings of the verbal form, the research depends on the assumption that the form has one, basic morphological meaning which is ‘request’. ‘Request’ has two meanings: ‘Direct Request’ to establish ‘Inquiry,’ ‘Ask for permission ’and ‘Begging’. The second meaning for ‘Request’ is ‘Appeal’ and ‘Tendency Towards’. Old and contemporary researchers did not pay attention to the second meaning of ‘Request’ although it dominates the form. my research, presents all the meanings by both old and contemporary researches showing the different variations of the meanings of ‘Request’.Downloads
