Intellectual recruitment of theatrical props in “The Horatians and the Curiatians”

Abstract

The aim of the research is to shed light on the relationship of (the Props) used in the play (The Horatians and the Curiatians) with its philosophical reference (Marxist), in this play gave the German play (Bertold Brecht) a fundamental role for (the theatrical Props) , and dealt with its role through its compatibility with the dialectical approach, which he founded his theater on, and the theatrical Props was used for stylistic necessities such as realism, and to complement the style, or historical accuracy, but in this play, he returned the theatrical Props to the purpose used in to its philosophical origins. Hence ,this research came to benefit the authors, directors and researchers, and enable them to reconsider plays with a philosophical background such as existentialism, absurdity and futility, and what it includes of the theatrical Props, in order to give them a role that is in line with the philosophical reference of the theatrical text and the world of character, which helps the actor to disclose and reveal impulses The motives of the role it represents with awareness and philosophical vision.
