Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the positive and negative values embedded in cartoon programs directed for girls, to achieve these goals, the study followed the descriptive approach using the content analysis method; This is done by using a special analysis tool (the analysis form) that was built as a preliminary stage before starting the monitoring and analysis process. It was used to track the values in the cartoon programs assumed in the study sample and to monitor and analyze them by girls. The study concluded with a number of important results, including: Cartoon programs are a fertile environment because they contribute to shaping children's beliefs and values, which will often be reflected in their thoughts and behaviors, and this is related to the index of their viewing intensity. In his hypothetical reality, it was found that the values in the contents of cartoon programs directed at girls have directed their indicators to negativity rather than positivity in the general overall, and the high index of positive and negative social values among other values, while these programs lacked faith, , woreship, national, and environmental values.
