Spiritual intelligence among talented students in both Saudi Arabia and Jordan “a comparative cross-cultural study”

Abstract

This study aims to recognize the level of spiritual intelligence among talented students in both Saudi Arabia and Jordan “a comparative cross-cultural study”. The Saudi sample consisted of ( 244 ) students, who were randomly chosen from talented students and who were enrolled in secondary and middle schools in Abha, after being counted from the department of education in Asir region, and prince Faisal bin Khalid center for gifted care. While the Jordanian sample consisted of ( 250 ) students who were randomly chosen from talented students of King Abdullah II schools for excellence in the middle region. A comparative causal descriptive method was used, as well as the spiritual intelligence scale (Al-Dhabe’, 2012). The study results indicated the following: - The spiritual intelligence level among talented students in both Saudi Arabia and Jordan was high. - There are statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) due to the impact of nationality in all areas and the total degree, and the differences were in favor of Saudi nationality. There are no statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) due to the impact of the level in all areas and the total degree except the field of realizing suffering as an opportunity, and the differences were in favor of secondary level. - There are no statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) due to the impact of interaction between nationality and the level in all areas and the total degree.
