Proposal as One of the Parliamentary Oversight (Compared Study between Egypt and Jordan)

Abstract

Proposal is considered as one of the parliamentary oversight on government's agenda, We have addressed in this study the concept of proposal, and it's constitutional extent, conditions, outcome, and cases of concluding it or descending it. Also, it highlights the relationship between proposal and the parliamentary oversight, the variations in parliamentary systems and applying it, and the reason behind it's limitations of use. This study concludes with some recommendations that ensures activating this oversight means through finding a text that determines it in the constitution, organise it's procedures in the internal regulations of the parliaments, and unification, of appointments governed by the parliament and the senate .
