Tafila Technical University students' attitudes towards some of the social, political and religious values and issues

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the Tafila Technical University students' attitudes towards some of the social, political and religious dialectical issues and values. to achieve this goal has been set up tool for the detection of respondents attitudes toward these values and issues, the validity and reliability of this tool was calculated by appropriate statistical methods, and it consisted in its final form (19) paragraph. The study sample was selected by the randomly stratified way. The results of the study showed that the degree of Tafila University students attitude toward dialectical values and social issues contained in the study tool was high in the overall rate, while the degree of attitude was Medium toward some of these values and social issues. Also the respondents attitude were not affected by gender, specialties and instructional levels, while there were statistically significant differences in the averages of their attitudes attributed to the interaction between these variables differences, therefore the study recommends emphasizing the role of universities in building a system of social, religious and humanitarian values among members of the community.
