The Image of Women and Men in al-Kharjāt Ala‘jamiyahin Andalusia.

Abstract

This research aims atdiscussing the representation of women and men in Kharjāt Ala‘jamiyah,which appeared in Andalusian literature. The research scrutinizes these Kharjātand how theymirror love experience, women’s suffering and passion, along with their boldness to express their feelings. The study explores various aspects of thisimage,including social, psychological, material and cultural dimensions. This type of representation seems to appear in no other literary source of Andalusian time. Through an inductive approach and in-depth analysis of al-KharjātAla‘jamiyah, the research examines artistic styles and psychological dimensions.
