Social factors influencing the commission of the offense in the Jordanian society from the veiwpoint of convicts in correctional and rehabilitation centers.

Abstract

Abstract The study aimed at identifying criminal behavior and social dimensions, economic, legal, legitimacy and identify the social factors leading to the crime, and the role of these factors in pushing the individual to commit a crime and return to the commission from the viewpoint of convicts in correctional and rehabilitation centers, Has been designing and developing a questionnaire to collect data sample was used for the selection of simple random sample of the study and reach (240) Researched. The study found the following results: - The presence of traces of variables (family relationships and economic level, educational level and residential area and the nature of housing and means of social control) on the one hand, and commit criminal behavior in Jordanian society on the other hand. The study recommends the need for attention to the needs of young people and the various job opportunities for them and attention to deepen the role of the family and the school in the process of social intercourse And attention crowded populated areas and the provision of services where.
