The Phoenician Civilization Effects in the Greek Civilization

Abstract

This research handles the relationship between the Greek Civilization and the Phoenician one & the affect factors between the two civilization. The research focuses on the oriental civilization impact, represented by the Phoenician Civilization in the Greek on in several fields such as religion, literature, cities construction, the political & military systems, medicine and industry as well as on the commercial centers. It also sheds light on the causes and methods of such effect through the study of the material heritage and the contents of classical writings which were abundant in pointing to the relationship between the two parties.
