Contemporary Feminine Literature: Fadwa Touqan as a Model

Abstract

Fadwa Touqan was one of the women who proved herself in the field of literature; this was evident in the diversity of literature that she had produced. In addition, she raised movement of criticism around her literature by orientalists and Arabs scholars. Therefore, this research is seeking to show criticism's opinions about the feminist literature within two aspects. The first aspect is represented in the opinions about feminist literature. The second aspect is how critics' look to Fadwa Toukan's literature as a model for contemporary Arab feminist literature.
