The study aimed at measuring the level of citizenship and belongingness of the workers at the Jordanian institutions. In order to achieve this goal, a scale of (39) items was developed and distributed on five domains: belongingness domain, cognitive and cultural domain, social domain, religious domain and spatial domain. The scale was applied upon a random stratified sample of (296) employees: (273) males and (23) females. The study revealed that the level of citizenship and its role in enhancing belongingness was positive in all the domains of the scale:" belongingness, cognitive and cultural, social, spatial and religious domains". The most positive effect was detected in the cultural and cognitive domain while the least positive impact was in the religious domain.
