Analysis for Significations of Shape and aesthetics in Islamic Doors

Abstract

This paper presents an analytical perspective for the shape and aesthetics in Islamic doors, the paper studies the architectural structure for ornament unit and its connection with measures of Islamic doors. The paper also concentrates on studying architecture scales between ornament units in Islamic doors and its connection with door. The research aims to achieve alternative suggestions for designing doors, these alternative suggestions concentrates on the importance of the role and the connection of ornament unit especially in relationship with its proportion and the necessity of coordination in forming architectural shapes that are all connected.
