Political orientations with Sheikh Fuad al-Khatib

Abstract

This paper deals with political thought of sheikh Fouad al- Khateeb during the period (1908-1924) , a critical period of modern Arab history. Al_khateeb is considered as one of the pioneers, who served the Arabs' question enthusiastically. He used his pen to highlight the Arabs' question, and to support them in gaining their independence and unity. he was so proud of Arabic language as well as Arab history. He also attacked the enemies of the nation, especially the committee of union and progress, through passionate poetry and editorials which were written in Qibla Hijazi newspaper, a political publication. It has not been studied to the best of my knowledge
