Paradox in cArar’s Poetry

Abstract

This research deals with a distinguished phenomenon in an Arab Jordanian poet (^cArar) (1899-1949) which is paradox. ^cArar’s personality matched very well with paradox and so did his life. It was a theme and a style of life that appeared clearly in ^cArar’s poems.

Many kinds of paradoxes appeared in ^cArar’s poems, so this research explained sixteen of them by examples, trying to show the paradox in each of them.
