Abstract

Aesthetics of Intertextuality in Ibn Zaidoun’s Aljaddieh Letter Dr Ibrahim Mansour Al Yaseen Assistant Professor of Arabic language and Literature Tafila Technical University Abstract The present study aims at discussing the aesthetics of intertextuality in Aljaddieh Letter of Ibn Zaidoun and its impact on the letter’s language, structure, and interconnected relations. This comes through commenting on the patterns of Intertextuality, its shapes and images that offer the receptor an opportunity to read and interpret.The study is centerd around two pivots: Theoretical Background: This deals with intertextuality perception from Western and Arab critics. Application : This includes a practical study of Intertextuality concept and revelations in different forms within the Letter; most important are religious, literary, and historical intertextuality. It also shows its influence on the text in form and content. It has been noticed that intertextuality is a deep interaction between texts, and an influential element as the new text becomes a mixture of different previous or present texts that affects its language, structure, style, and meaning. Eventually, it is reading tool, and a search for its deep structure and a revelation of its aesthetics. Moreover, it has been shown that Ibn Zaidoun has intensively articulated on intertextuality in structuring his Letter as he quoted a lot of literal and demonstrative Quranic quotes which embodied events , stances, and stories derived from the Holy Quran and the Prophet Bibliography along with Islamic History. Additionally, he embodied famous poetry of great poets, and current Arabic proverbs in order to cast a Aesthetetics of frame and provides it with imaginative potentials. Thus it became a mosaic of religious traditions, literal, and historical texts that infiltrated into its structure and text. Keywords: Intertextuality, Aljaddieh Letter, patterns of Intertextuality.
