Syrian policy toward Palestinian liberation Organization Between 1963 - 1970

Abstract

This research dealt with the issue of the relations between Syrian Governments AND Palestinian organizations in Syria during the period between 1963 - 1970, and discussed quickly the internal developments OF THE Syrian policy , also discussed the emergence of factions and activities of the most important Palestinian organizations , which was linked to Syria, and the role of those organizations in the Palestinian issue, right then Syria moved its position from the adoption of the issue, to the position of supporting and approving of some Palestinian organizations. It is noteworthy that these organizations did not come up with any practical solution. This research will tackle the following questions : - What are the Palestinian organizations that arose inside Syrian Arab Republic during the period of the research as well as how successive and different Syrian Governments dealt with the organizations politically or ideologically? - What are the points of agreement and disagreement that appeared and how did all Parties acted toward it?
