Empirical Study for the Use of the Song in Providing Kindergarten's Child with New Concepts
Abstract
The Research is an empirical study designed to measure the impact of songs in providing kindergarten children some new concepts. The researchers used the experimental method, and they prepared Pre-testing and post tests and measured the experimental group performance before and after learning specific songs dedicated to this issue, through ten sessions. The Research is divided into two parts; 1- Theoretical part; including review of literature and an overview of children songs. 2- Applied Part; including teaching children ten songs on various topics that fit to their ages in melody, Rhythm, and objectives, and measure their impact in providing them with new concepts. Measurements have shown the effectiveness of songs to help children to acquire these concepts and terminology within a short time.Downloads
