Abstract

This research studies the revolutionary dimension in the poetry of "Amal Dunqul" as a return to the self represents an intellectual and artistic frame in his poetry. At the level of intellect; the revolution dimension contacted with time, considering it as one unit; this took place in the return to all forms of creativity in the Arab experience and heritage; that is, a return to the historical self after outgrowing the symbols of tyranny and oppression. At the level of art; the revolutionary dimension is represented in recalling live the heritage, via the adherence to the historical symbols which represented the idea of goodness, justice, rejection and the revolution in Arab heritage; to reflect the intellectual and aesthetic vision of reality and the world.
