The Impact of Sufism in Haider Mahmoud’s Poems

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the impact that occurs by the modern poet through religious and philosophical meaning of (Sufism) culture with reference to Jordanian poet Haider Mahmoud, nevertheless the acceded in his rhetoric surface structure to disguised deep structure, if only to be read word to word, then the reader can come up with the real meaning.

Sufism is inspirited source for the poet through its wide, rich, deep, with spiritual vision, still Haider Mahmuod is not a pure Sufi in the sense of the term but, this study tries to stand at the traces of the Sufism impact in Haider's. As to have been said Haider's Sufi poetic productions one of the most important modern Arabic poems, and one of the most enrichment of the poetic text.
