The differences in the Level of Effectiveness of Female Teachers in Detecting Gifted Children in Kindergarten According to Some Demographic Variables in Amman

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the differences in the level of effectiveness of female teachers ’performance
in detecting gifted children in kindergarten according to some demographic variables in Amman, by
using the descriptive approach since it suits the purpose of the study. The study sample was randomly
chosen from the kindergarten teachers in the capital, Amman, which numbered (309) female teachers.
The results of the study have shown that the level of effectiveness of female teachers’ performance in
detecting gifted children in kindergarten represented by the following indicators: (emotional and social,
creative, and motivation) were of high level from the point of view of teachers. The results of the study
also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of effectiveness of female
teachers in detecting gifted children in kindergarten according to some demographic variables in
Amman. The study recommended the necessity of focusing on the talented students in kindergarten as a
tool to raise the level of effectiveness of female teachers’ performance.
