Speeches of the Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan and his Commandments "A pragmatic language approach"

Abstract

This study aims to address in the speeches of the Caliph Abd al-Malik bin Marwan and his Commandments in a pragmatically linguistic framework, and to identify the structure of the verbal text. To reach this end, the study was classified according to the following: - Introduction, where we explained the importance of the pragmatic linguistic approach to the texts. - The axes of the study, which were formed as follows: introductory sentences, methods of affirmation, and command and forbidding, and the language of threat, and the language of intensification in his speeches and testaments.
