Abstract

This research aims to address the use of myth in the text of the theater of the Arabian Gulf, where he went to the researcher initially to try to monitor the concept of myth and its relationship to the theater, indicating the functional aspects that made it a fertile area for theatrical employment, has spread the use of legend in theatrical literature from Greek theater to the Arab theater, In his study, the researcher chose two plays: (Bo Dreihah) by Hamad Al-Rumaihi, and the play (Nimrud) by Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi.The mechanisms of employing the myth were carefully monitored in order to determine the most important signs. and For the intellectual and aesthetic dimensions resulting from the use of myth in the Arabian Gulf play script.
