Abstract

This study discusses the poem Almoraqash Alakbar Almimiyah , which, despite its importance, never received the attention it deserves from the scholars, and this study attempts, by revising the previous ruling of ancient critics, to reveal the damage these critics have done to the status of this poem, and its importance in poetry heritage in Jahili era. This study also attempts to, by internal inspection of the poem based on the analytical methodology, to prove the inaccuracy of categorizing this poem as Rethaa, and pointing to it as an example of Rethaa started with Nasieb, when this poem isn’t Rethaa in the first place, and viewing it as Rethaa takes it away from the ends for which it was created, and ruins the harmony of its elements.
