Abstract

A Variation of the Patterns of the Micro-Climate of the Urban Fabric in Ramadi City. The residential locations in Ramadi city vary in their planning methods according to their morphological stages. The planning has considered the methods of climate control derived from the organic cities due to of their great impact in the formation of a local pleasant climate that increases the comfortable feeling of man. The emergence of the old city came in response to the determinants of climate for our hot dry weather conditions in summer. However, the contemporary stage has been an openness to Western designs and the adoption of urban indicators that come close to the network model which exacerbated the negative impact of the harsh climate in the city. The current research aims at showing the stages of the urban planning of the city and to uncover the planning reality of the old residential locations al-Azizia and al-Qattana and the modern locations of the neighborhoods of al-Andalus, al-Mualimeen, al-Malaab, al-Taameem and their impact on the formation of a micro local topical climate vary between the old residential locations compared to the modern ones. The study used the site climatic observations to measure temperature, relative humidity and the wind speed during the day and night of the two months July and January for the two years of 2018-2019 .
