Abstract

The study aims to examine an important issue within contemporary criticism, namely the embodied reader, and its forms in AL- Tawaba` Wa AL- Zawaba`by Ibn Shaheed AL-Andalusi. Ibn Shaheed utilizes the embodied reader to communicate his intended messages. The study has been divided into introduction, preface and three sections. The first section addresses significant signs including the title, collected views and the technique of interior and exterior dialogue. The second focuses on the structure of silent signs including ellipsis and deletion. The third studies the structure of voids and the power of negation. It covers cutting dialogue verbs and the techniques of substitutional deviation and genus interference. The conclusion sums up the most important findings of the study.
