Abstract

The aim of this research is to specify the role of the nature of the study material, the teaching method, and the student’s motives towards cheating, and in order to achieve the desired goals of this research, the research community was chosen from the students of the Department of Geography in the College of Education for Girls, the third and fourth stages and the sample was chosen on purpose, Where the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool to collect the data, which it has been prepared to achieve the goal of the research, as it consisted of (30) paragraphs divided into two areas, first, the nature of the subject matter and teaching method and the second is related to student motives, and the results of the research have been reached on the overall level of the tool. The field of student motives ranked first with an average of (4.00) and a standard deviation (0.40). While the subject matter and teaching style ranked second with an arithmetic average (3.43) and a standard deviation (0.40), and in light of the results achieved, the researcher reached some recommendations, the most important of which is to consider the conditions experienced by the student and because of the crises the country is going through that do not help the student to focus In his studies, by choosing the subjects that suit the circumstance and the stage of study
