Abstract

Despite the large number of studies that discussed the works of Arar, the poet of Jordan, the vast majority of these studies revolved around Arar the human and, to a lesser extent, the major characteristics of his poetry. Thus, studies that provide a detailed textual analysis of Arar's poetry are still scarce. This study provides a detailed critical textual analysis for the selected poems without looking at peripherals such as footnotes and margins, which might misguide the reader. More specifically, this research looks at the binary concepts of loyalty and disassociation that control the rhythm of the poetic text and its construction
