In the theoretical part, the relevant terms for multimedia learning will be explained, as well as central research results in the field of cognitive linguistics. It shows that the relationship between text and image is a major cause of understanding. The findings from the theoretical state of research are the basis for the empirical investigation. This work with the use of grammatical animations for the German alternate prepositions in the test groups of the German Jordanian University in Madaba, in the Language Generation Center and at the University of Jordan in Amman.
