The Historian Ibn al-Loaiba and his Book in History

Abstract

The Purpose of this study is to try to research the personality of the Shami historian Abd al-Mounaim bin Hassan famous as Ibn al-Loaiba and his book in history, and to show his personal status and culture, and try to identify his book in history through the reminder of the book in the subsequent sources, and to know the temporal and geographical scope of his book, and the issues discussed, and its resources, methodology, and the value of his book for the studies of Al-Sham in general, and the Crusader studies especially Crusader, and the extent of what he introduce to the history of the Fernj thr Crusaders in the Levant.
