Migration from the Arab Spring countries to Europe: Causes and Consequences

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to discuss the issues of migration from the Arab Spring countries to the European countries in terms of its causes and consequences. The study concluded that migration from the Arab Spring countries refers to what can be called as the factors of expulsion in the countries of the Arab Spring and the factors of attraction in the receiving countries of migrants, these motives or factors can be classified as political, economic and social factors. Furthermore, the revolutions of the Arab Spring have created a disastrous situation for migrants, both within their own countries and in the host countries, especially in light of the increasing number of migrants and the negative effects of their migration. Migration has become a challenge faced by both exporting and receiving countries. Keywords: Migration, Arab Spring, Europe.
