The Image of Woman in Abed Alhai Mosalam’s Artwork

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the image of woman in the work of Abed Alhai Moslam. Woman has been a dominant theme of Moslam’s work. The researcher starts his research assuming that woman has been always been a present symbol in the work of the artists. This presence of the woman which has been accompanying the artist’s work for over 50 years during which a change in both the craft of painting and the intellectual discourse has been noted. This research is the first that inclusively investigates the image of the woman in the work of Abed Alhai Moslam where the researcher answers questions related to the image of the woman , her transformations, her intellectual discourses, and the artistic craft of producing that image.
